Social media can be used for many good reasons, but lying isn’t one of them. Unfortunately, a surprisingly high number of posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram have little truth to them. While most of these lies go unnoticed, some are just too obvious to ignore. The following people posted lies of epic proportions on social media and each one got called out.
You Just Crossed the Feline
When you are trying to sell something on social media, it’s highly recommended to make sure that the photo doesn’t contradict anything you mention in the description. Sure, this couch looks slightly used. And yes, it is soft and grey.
However, when you start claiming that no pets have been on this piece of furniture and yet there is a cat literally hiding behind that very same couch, you know that it’s probably best to look elsewhere.
