Former Professional Boxer Says There’s No Proof That The Earth Is Round

An ex-boxer has gone viral for claiming there is no evidence to support the idea that the Earth is round.

Carl Froch, a renowned former British boxer who competed from 2002 to 2014, and later worked as a boxing analyst and commentator, has recently sparked a wave of online discussions.

He became the center of attention after openly sharing his belief in some controversial conspiracy theories.

During a December 2022 appearance on the Pound for Pound podcast with Jake Wood and Spencer Oliver, he expressed his belief that the Earth is flat, not round. He also criticized NASA, calling it “fake.”

He stated (according to The Sun): “The Earth is flat, 100 percent. There’s no proof of the Earth’s curvature, and this fake space agency, NASA, uses CGI images, and each one is different.”

He added, “I’m looking at them thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, they’re like cartoons.’”

He said, “When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights… and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth’s curvature, I’ll believe the Earth is a globe.”

He once again reiterated these unusual beliefs when speaking on the Macklin’s Take podcast.

When asked if he truly believes the world is flat, Froch responded: “Here’s the problem. I’ve tried to prove – and I challenge anybody listening to this – prove that the Earth is spherical. Prove that it’s round. Prove that it’s actually a globe.”

Macklin replied: “All I know is that when Michael Conlan was boxing in Brisbane, we left LA and flew west, and 12 hours later, we were in Brisbane. So I don’t see how the world can possibly be flat.”

In response, the ex-boxer confusingly said: “I could get a piece of A4 paper, write down the center of the flat Earth – which is the North Pole – and write down the ice wall – which is right down the south side – all the way around the circumference of the flat Earth, and you would circumnavigate and get from where you just said [L.A.] to where you just said [Brisbane] in the same flight path.

    “Next question.”

Froch has also accused NASA of faking the Moon landings, despite the widely accepted fact that Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the lunar surface in 1969.

He told Action Network (via Daily Express): “The equipment they used to get up there was as powerful as a ZX Spectrum, which probably wasn’t that powerful. It was a computer when I was a kid. We can’t get there now, and I think everything we’ve been told about the Moon landing is made up.

“When you look at all of the evidence, all the footage, and the fact that they lost all of the telemetric data that tells you that they went to the Moon, then I would say that we did not go to the Moon.”

He said, “Man did not walk on the Moon. That was a big f***ing lie.”
