Alec Musser’s tragic cause of death revealed by authorities

The reason behind Alec Musser’s death has been disclosed following the passing of the All My Children star at 50 years old.

During his two-year tenure on the show, the actor made a notable impact, leaving a lasting impression on both fans and colleagues.

In 2005, Musser became a part of the All My Children cast, taking on the role of Del Henry. Throughout his stint on the daytime television series, he featured in a total of 43 episodes. Although his acting career included just six credits, he also made notable appearances in projects such as Grown Ups, Road to the Altar, and Rita Rocks.

In the more recent years, Musser redirected the main focus of his career toward becoming a fitness model. He adorned the covers of notable men’s magazines like Men’s Health and Men’s Workout. His impressive physique and modeling contributions gained recognition, to the extent that actor Channing Tatum recreated one of Alec’s iconic magazine covers as part of the promotional efforts for his film Dog.

Musser graciously acknowledged Tatum’s tribute, conveying his gratitude: “Thank you, [Channing Tatum]. ‘Dog’ movie. Imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery. Calle nailed this pose in about 4 frames on a Max Fitness cover shoot. During a lighting change phenomenon, fitness photographer Corey Sorenson said, ‘grab your dog for a few,’ and the illustrious career of [Calle the Superstar] was born.”

It has now been disclosed that the actor died by suicide. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office informed TMZ that he was discovered dead last Saturday by his fiancรฉe at their Del Mar, CA home.

Tragically, he passed away due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

As a devoted bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast, Musser regularly shared his fitness journey and experiences on social media. His posts highlighted an active lifestyle, featuring activities such as snowboarding and surfing.

Musser’s fiancรฉe, Pagie Press, shared the heartbreaking news with TMZ, and his uncle confirmed the actor’s passing. However, specific details regarding the circumstances leading up to his death have not been disclosed.

After the news of Musser’s passing, social media platforms were flooded with an outpouring of tributes and condolences from fans and friends. Fans also joined in paying their respects, with some noting the recent increase in the number of soap opera stars’ deaths.

On the same day as Musser’s passing, Days of Our Lives star Bill Hayes also passed away, though the cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Hayes, born William Foster Hayes III, portrayed the role of Doug Williams on Days of Our Lives since 1970, solidifying his status as one of the show’s longest-running characters.

His portrayal of Doug Williams stood as a cornerstone of the Williams-Horton family for over five decades.

A representative for the series shared the news, expressing, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Bill Hayes. One of the longest-running characters on Days of our Lives, Bill originated the role of โ€˜Doug Williamsโ€™ in 1970 and portrayed him continuously throughout his life.”

Days of Our Lives’ executive producer, Ken Corday, fondly remembered Hayes as a central figure in the show’s history.

Corday expressed, “I have known Bill for most of my life, and he embodied the heart and soul of Days of our Lives. Although we are grieving and will miss him, Billโ€™s indelible legacy will live on in our hearts and the stories we tell, both on and off the screen.”
