Pedro Pascal opted to bring his sister, Lux, as his companion to the Emmys, and it’s safe to say that the duo made a striking impression.
Stepping onto the silver carpet at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards hosted at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, the 48-year-old actor dazzled alongside his sister, Lux, who is transgender.
The duo made a stylish entrance to the event in coordinating black outfits. Pedro sported a sheer black jumper paired with matching straight-leg trousers, complemented by a white shirt and a black tie to complete the ensemble.
Meanwhile, Pedro’s sister captivated the crowd in an elegant halter-neck gown featuring a mermaid tail. Lux’s hair was elegantly pulled to one side, showcasing a pair of striking silver earrings. Her simple yet glamorous makeup included bold eyeliner and a coral lip, adding the perfect finishing touches to her stunning look.

In additional photos, Lux was captured posing with her brother, their arms linked in some shots, while in others, she confidently posed on her own as Pedro flashed a smile for the cameras.
Following their impressive strut on the carpet, fans flocked to social media to applaud the dynamic duo.
One user expressed admiration, stating, “Pedro Pascal is such a mensch. He took his trans sister as his date to the Emmys. That’s true family love and support.”
Another comment highlighted the appreciation, saying, “And just when I thought I couldn’t love Pedro Pascal more, he used his plus one to brag on his gorgeous and talented sister who also happens to be trans. What a guy. What a brother. THAT is an artist. This is dope as hell. And Miss Mamas is BAD. #Emmys.”
A third individual also joined the praise, commending Pedro for bringing his sister: “Pedro Pascal took his sister as his date to the Emmys – modeling what loving your trans fam looks like.”

Pedro Pascal is recognized for being a vocal ally and advocate for his trans sister.
In an interview with Esquire in April of last year, The Last Of Us actor described his sister as “one of the most powerful people” he has ever known.
Amidst the challenges faced by trans rights in the United States, the interviewer questioned Pedro about “what this moment in time” was like for Lux.
I wouldn’t want to speak on her behalf,” he conveyed to the outlet. “But she is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I’ve ever known. My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me.”
The 48-year-old also shared insights into their childhood, revealing that his sister was the favored child during their upbringing.
“She ruled the household right away. When my older sister and I would visit, we were like intruders. Our mother was her mother, but for us to think that we were entitled to this woman’s attention in any way was absurd,” he shared.

In a separate interview with Ya in 2021, Lux discussed her transition, revealing that she initially identified as non-binary before coming to the realization that she was, in fact, transgender.
“My transition has been something that’s very natural for everyone in my family,” she expressed at the time. “It’s almost something that they expected to happen.”
“[Pedro] was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity,” she added.
