The wife of the Mountain has addressed a question that had been lingering in all of our minds.
The actor, whose real name is Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson but often goes by the name Thor, gained fame for his portrayal of Gregor Clegane (also known as ‘The Mountain’) in Game of Thrones.
Additionally, he has appeared in films such as The Northman, Operation Ragnarok, and Pharaoh’s War.
Standing at an impressive 6 feet 9 inches, the Icelandic-born actor defies expectations in his choice of romantic partner, opting for someone quite the opposite in stature.
Björnsson is married to Kelsey Henson, aged 34, who stands at just 5 feet 2 inches tall.
Given their significant height difference, many have pondered how the couple manages to kiss each other, and it’s certainly a valid question.
In a previous Instagram Q&A session, someone asked Henson: “How do you kiss? Do you jump into his arms every time and wrap your legs around his waist? Please post a picture of this impressive action.”
Her reply was: “Oh, he leans, I stand on my toes. Or simply forget it, lift me!”
That seems reasonable.
The joyful pair tied the knot in October 2018, when Björnsson proudly shared a picture of himself effortlessly holding his bride.
He captioned the heartfelt snapshot: “I am delighted to announce that Kelsey Morgan Henson is now my wife!”
“I have the privilege of embracing this beautiful woman through every high and low for the remainder of our lives! I’m thrilled about the countless adventures awaiting us, hand in hand.”
The couple recently faced adversity following the heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Grace, in November 2023.
Their precious daughter was stillborn at 21 1/2 weeks gestation.

“After noticing a significant decrease in movement, we discovered that her heart had stopped beating,” the actor shared in a poignant Instagram post.
“Words cannot convey the depth of our sorrow at this loss or the joy we feel at being able to spend time with our daughter. She is absolutely beautiful, with blonde lashes and brows, and a gentle smile for her mom and dad.”
“The love we have for her is immeasurable. The sorrow we experience will remain with us indefinitely, but so will the love.”
Baby Grace was their second child. The celebrity couple also has a three-year-old son named Stormur.
Björnsson also shares a daughter named Theresa Líf with his ex-girlfriend.
