When observing a solar eclipse, it’s crucial to avoid directly staring at the Sun to prevent potential eye damage.
However, viewers tuning into a Mexican news channel may have found themselves looking away for an entirely different reason during its eclipse coverage.
Similar to numerous other news channels, RCG media had been airing coverage of the total solar eclipse that occurred on April 8th.
During a total solar eclipse, full visibility is only possible within the path of totality, where all celestial bodies align perfectly.
For this particular eclipse, the path of totality commenced far out in the Pacific Ocean, made landfall in Mexico, continued northeast across the US, and eventually extended out from Canada into the North Atlantic.
Indeed, the news station in Mexico was prepared, anticipating that those in the country would be among the first to witness this extraordinary celestial event.
Regrettably, an on-air mistake resulted in more than just the Sun and Moon being broadcast; other orbs made their unexpected appearance as well.

The station had reportedly invited its viewers to submit their own footage of the celestial event.
However, it accidentally aired a video featuring a pair of testicles amidst its coverage of the celestial event.
Thankfully, the producers of the show swiftly switched away from the clip, yet by then, it had already aired, beyond their control.
The video in question centered on a luminous light before the testes dipped into frame, obscuring it from view.
The presenters were visibly shocked after the clip aired, hastily attempting to move on from the embarrassing moment.
People flocked to social media platforms to share their thoughts on the viral moment, sparking widespread discussion.
A comment surfaced: “Solar eclipse versus testicles? It’s just a simple mistake. Anyone could make it.”

Naturally, there were plenty of puns circulating, with one individual quipping, “Looks like somebody really dropped the ball on this one.”
Another notable comment emerged: “Having spent my entire career in the media industry, I can only imagine the chaos and commotion that ensued behind the scenes.”
Another observer remarked, “This has got to be the most elaborate ‘DEEZ NUTS’ joke I’ve ever witnessed.”
