World’s oldest person who lived until 117 shared incredible rules she followed that helped her live so long

The world’s oldest person, who lived to 117, revealed the remarkable habits she followed to achieve such a long life.

Maria Branyas Morera, a Spanish supercentenarian, passed away on Monday, August 19. Despite experiencing some hearing loss and mobility issues, local media reported that she maintained a sharp memory throughout her remarkably long life.

The woman was notably active on X, a remarkable feat for the eighth-oldest person in recorded history. In addition to sharing in December 2022 about the daily food she consumed, she offered various tips on how others might strive to live as long as she did.

โ€˜Strongโ€™ family connections

Earlier this year, Branyas reflected on how she felt โ€˜luckyโ€™ to have had her loved ones by her side.

She wrote, โ€œStrong, rich, and caring family ties act as a cushion against loneliness.โ€

So, there you have it, folks: take care of those who care for you and stay social, as it might help you live a longer lifeโ€”something that studies have also supported.
