Diddy’s children have issued a joint statement addressing the allegations against their father. The musician, whose real name is Sean Combs, is currently incarcerated in New York after a judge denied him bail. Since then, additional accusations have surfaced.
Diddy is facing serious charges, including racketeering, s*x trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He has denied the allegations against him. Lawyers have reported that more than 100 individuals are preparing to take legal action against Combs, with seven new lawsuits filed, one of which accuses him of raping a 13-year-old girl.
Diddy’s children posted a family photo on Instagram, accompanied by a statement refuting “conspiracy theories” and “false narratives.” They emphasized their commitment to supporting their father during this challenging time.
They stated: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.
“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family.
“WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU, DAD.”
Combs has not addressed the charges publicly on his social media; his first post since the allegations was a birthday wish for one of his daughters. His mother, Janice Smalls Combs, stated that while her son is “not perfect,” he is “not a monster.” She claimed the allegations against him come from individuals “seeking financial gain” following his settlement with former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which arose after footage of him assaulting her in a hotel was released.
In a prior statement from Diddy’s legal team, his representatives said: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.
“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
