Scientists claim that Amber Heard has the “most beautiful face in the world.”
Heard, 38, is an American actress and activist recognized for her performances in films like Aquaman, as well as for her high-profile personal life, notably her turbulent relationship with actor Johnny Depp.
Now, she has received another significant honor, being named as having the most scientifically beautiful face in the world.
“Most stunning woman alive,” one fan commented.
Another said, “She’s absolutely gorgeous.”
“I’m not surprised by these results at all,” a third person remarked.
Heard’s early Hollywood career included a variety of small roles in television series like Jack & Bobby (2004) and The O.C. (2005), as well as in films like Friday Night Lights (2004).
She then took on supporting roles in films such as Never Back Down (2008) and Pineapple Express (2008).
Heard’s big break arrived in 2011 when she starred alongside Johnny Depp in The Rum Diary, based on Hunter S. Thompson’s novel.
This role not only increased her visibility but also sparked her relationship with Depp, which would later capture significant media attention.
Her portrayal of Mera in the DC Extended Universe, first in Justice League (2017) and then more prominently in Aquaman (2018), further established her as a leading Hollywood actress.
However, Heard’s personal life has frequently taken the spotlight away from her professional accomplishments.
Her relationship with Johnny Depp, which started around 2011, attracted significant media attention.
The couple tied the knot in 2015, but their marriage soon began to unravel. In May 2016, Heard filed for divorce and secured a restraining order against Depp, alleging domestic abuse.
Depp denied the allegations, and their divorce was finalized in 2017, resulting in a $7 million settlement, which Heard vowed to donate to charity. However, the legal disputes between Heard and Depp continued long after their divorce.
In 2018, Heard penned an op-ed for The Washington Post discussing her experiences with domestic violence, though she did not mention Depp by name.
This prompted Depp to file a defamation lawsuit against Heard in 2019, asserting that the article had harmed his career and reputation.
Heard countersued, and the subsequent trial in 2022 turned into a global media phenomenon.
The proceedings were characterized by intense public scrutiny, as both Heard and Depp offered conflicting narratives about their relationship.
The jury ultimately sided with Depp, granting him $10 million in damages, while also awarding Heard $2 million in her countersuit.
However, she’s now making the headlines for an entirely new reason.
Dr. Julian De Silva, a leading Harley Street surgeon, has been analyzing Hollywood celebrities in order to determine who has the most ‘perfect’ facial features.
To ensure scientific accuracy, he’s employed the ‘Golden Ratio’—a technique from ancient Greece that examines the proportions of the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and overall facial shape.
According to his analysis, the Aquaman star’s face aligns with this method by an impressive 91.85% based on the Greek ratio of Phi, which is 1.618.
Dr. De Silva, who operates a surgery clinic in London, shared with Us Weekly: “The Phi ratio of 1.618 has been regarded as the key to beauty for ages, but with computer mapping, we can now assess how it applies to real women.”
Using the same facial-scanning technology, he also found that Kim Kardashian has the most scientifically perfect eyebrows.
Actress Scarlett Johansson has been determined to have the most scientifically perfect eyes, while Emily Ratajkowski is noted for having the most scientifically perfect lips.
The surgeon also combined features from various celebrities, who are widely regarded as attractive, to create the most scientifically ‘perfect face.’
He incorporated Heard’s nose, Kardashian’s eyebrows, Johansson’s eyes, Ratajkowski’s lips, Rihanna’s face shape, and Kate Moss’ forehead.
When the research was conducted, Kardashian ranked second with a score of 91.39%.
Supermodel Moss followed closely behind, scoring 91.06%.
Meanwhile, Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner placed fourth and fifth, with scores of 90.8% and 90.18%, respectively.
Despite his findings, Dr. De Silva emphasizes that beauty is subjective, noting that science only provides ‘objective measurements.’
For her part, Heard has expressed her own views on beauty in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
“Your beauty isn’t determined by how others perceive you, nor is it tied to any inherent quality or experience,” she explains. “Ephemeral qualities are transient by nature.
True beauty lies in what you earn and cultivate for yourself, which is far more valuable and enduring.”
