As reported by The Times, Adele officially acknowledged her marriage to Paul on Monday night in her characteristic style—by playfully interrupting a friend’s comedy show. The renowned artist apparently shared the news while enjoying her friend Alan Carr’s stand-up performance, with attendees recounting the incident on social media.
Adele revealed her strong desire to expand her family, expressing that she is “eager” to have another baby.
During the show, when Carr inquired if anyone in the audience had recently tied the knot, Adele enthusiastically exclaimed, “I did!” Although specific details regarding the engagement and reported wedding are still undisclosed, this revelation follows Adele’s earlier reference to the sports agent as her “husband” during one of her concerts in Las Vegas a few months ago.
“I cannot marry you because I am heterosexual, my love,” stated the Grammy winner while addressing inquiries from the audience at a September concert. “Furthermore, my husband is present here tonight. He is in attendance.”
Adele and Paul’s initial connection dates back to July 2021 when they were spotted together at Game 5 of the NBA Finals. Their relationship became official two months later, as they shared a photo on Instagram, signifying the commencement of their now two-year-long partnership.
Expressing her deep affection for Paul, the singer openly shared her feelings with Elle U.K. in 2022, stating, “I’ve never experienced love like this. I’m utterly captivated by him. I certainly desire to expand our family with more children.”
