Candyman had ‘strict rules’ for wife and girlfriends when living together in mansion

Here are the strict rules that the girlfriends residing in Australia’s extravagant mansion, reminiscent of Hugh Hefner’s lifestyle, must follow.

Tobacco tycoon Travers Beynon, 52, famously known as ‘The Candyman’ by his wife and girlfriends, gained notoriety for hosting extravagant parties at his ‘Candy Shop Mansion’ and maintaining multiple romantic relationships.

Over the past year, Beynon and his wife Taesha have begun to step back from their hedonistic lifestyle. In December, the businessman listed their sprawling mansion for sale as they prepared to welcome their newest child, a son named Santiago, born in June. Despite these changes, the legendary stories of their wild years at the mansion will continue to resonate in Australian pop culture.

The Australian businessman has previously shared how he balances his time between his wife and his numerous girlfriends, insisting that they all get along well.

In fact, they are so close that they all sleep in one giant bed together and gather for a weekly ‘family meal’ where mobile phones are strictly banned.

However, when it comes to selecting new girlfriends, Travers enforces ‘strict rules’ to ensure harmony within his household.

Despite this, he admits to having encountered “every scenario you could think of” over the years. However, he emphasizes that he’s “always clear and never unclear about the rules” when introducing new girlfriends.

In a 2018 interview with LADbible, Beynon opened up about his extravagant lifestyle, detailing what a typical “experience” at the Candy Shop Mansion is like.

“We’d have a party at the mansion, then move up to the bedroom, which has a str!pper pole, mirrored ceilings, and all the lights, smoke machines, LEDs, and everything,” he said.

“She [Taesha] recalls one moment when it all turned s3xual and about 10 to 12 girls jumped on me.”

“And my wife told me she couldn’t actually see me under the pile of girls; she said it was almost like I was being eaten alive.”

“And I can tell you, there was a moment when that happened when I could see the ceiling, and I thought to myself, ‘OK, I think I can go now.’ I felt, ‘If my time’s up now, I can happily go.'”

“And it happened quite a few times after that, so I feel pretty lucky. I’ve been waiting for the white light many times, but it hasn’t come yet.”

A lifestyle involving intimacy with so many women surely comes with its fair share of rules, you’d imagine.

Indeed, Travers mentioned that his experience in ‘people management’ within the business sector has been instrumental in his pursuit of polygamy.

He continued, “If you’re a girlfriend, you’re part of the family. We have a mandatory family dinner on Sunday nights where everyone sits down at two large tables, and I collect everyone’s mobile phones and put them in another room.”

“We order takeaway for our special family night when everyone gathers together—the kids, the teenagers, the girlfriends, and the wife.”

“There aren’t any more arguments than usual—in fact, I believe the girls benefit from having a boyfriend or husband like me and also their best friends living with them.”
