“This time, the would-be assassin has been identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh from Hawaii, who was apprehended with an AK-47 at Trumpโ€™s Florida golf course.”

Routh, who has a criminal record in North Carolina, appears to have held a personal grudge against Trump and was active in supporting various Democratic causes online.

The situation took a dramatic turn when Routh was detained close to Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, where Trump was playing a round of golf.

Routh had equipped himself with a GoPro camera and a rifle as he neared the golf course, seemingly intending to record the attack.
