However, when Musk shared a private photo of the actress on his social media platform (formerly known as Twitter), he faced widespread criticism from both fans and critics alike.
Criticizing Musk’s decision to post the photo, one person wrote: “The things we deem OK or not OK are amusing. Most of us show off on the timeline in some way; this one just happens to be… well, kind of extraordinary, to be honest.”

According to Walter Isaacson’s biography, Elon Musk, the couple’s early dates mostly centered around work—Heard flew to the Tesla factory in California to surprise Musk on his birthday, and he visited her on the set of Aquaman in Australia.
Shortly after their breakup, Musk spoke highly of his ex. On Instagram, he wrote: “Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close, and love one another.”
“Long-distance relationships are always challenging when both partners have intense work commitments, but who knows what the future holds.”
However, his biography paints a different picture.

In the photo Musk shared, the Zombieland star is dressed as the video game character Mercy.

Page Six reports that Musk did not have Heard’s consent to share the image.
A source close to the actress reportedly told the publication that the photo was intended to remain ‘private.’
