In the acclaimed series, Gail portrayed Stuart Carson, the fiancé of Shannen Doherty’s character Brenda Walsh. Additionally, he graced the General Hospital spin-off, Port Charles, assuming the role of Dr. Joe Scanlon.
Katie Colmenares, his sister, broke the news of his passing, sharing a poignant photo of them embracing on Instagram. In her message to followers, she expressed, “There’s scarcely been a day in my life when you were not by my side, always my wingman, always my best friend, ready to face anything and anyone with me.”

He shared the screen with Bradley Cooper and Colleen Porch in the 2002 romantic comedy Bending All The Rules and also featured in the 2004 film Perfect Opposites.
His last credited role is noted as a voice actor in the 2019 adventure game Blacksad: Under the Skin, where he lent his voice to the character Sam.
