Heidi Klum ‘winner’ of Halloween as fans hail her a ‘creative genius’

Heidi Klum has been crowned the ultimate Halloween champion after showing up in a wildly outrageous costume.

When Halloween approaches, all eyes are on Klum, renowned for her one-of-a-kind and extravagant outfits.

In 2022, she stunned everyone by dressing as a worm, only to surprise guests again with another costume at the actual party.

Last year, some fans criticized the model for playing it a bit safe and opting for a somewhat more “normal” costume.

She transformed into a peacock, donning a form-fitting blue bodysuit paired with a mask featuring a yellow beak and a feathered headdress.

This year, both Klum and singer Janelle Monáe channeled E.T. for separate events on opposite coasts.

Fans will likely debate who pulled off the look better, but both clearly captured the essence of Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

Klum’s husband, Tom Kaulitz, also dressed as E.T., as the couple arrived together at the 23rd edition of her Halloween party at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.

“I have been a fan of E.T. since I was 9 years old,” Klum shared with The Associated Press.

“I just love becoming this character. E.T. is very small, so I thought it would be fun to play with the proportions too.”

Commenting on the costume online, one fan remarked, “Every year, she goes all out with the craziest costumes— you never know what she’ll show up as, but it’s always something wild.”

Another fan added, “Heidi Klum wins Halloween every year, but this year, she’s won Halloween forever.”

“Nothing can prepare me for Heidi Klum’s Halloween costumes; it’s never something you could guess,” another fan wrote.

Someone else chimed in, saying, “Heidi Klum is a creative genius. She’s amazing.”

Meanwhile, Monáe showcased her own E.T. costume during a Halloween special of The Jennifer Hudson Show.

“Halloween is such a happy space for me; it has been since I was a kid,” she told Hollywood Reporter.

“It opens a larger conversation about how we can become agents of joy and happiness,” she continued.

“Creating Halloween experiences and engaging in creative activities is heart work, not hard work. I do this because my heart needs it.”

Now that Halloween is over, there are only 54 days left until Christmas!
