    The sci-fi action film Borderlands, directed by horror expert Eli Roth, is adapted from the immensely popular video game series of the same name.

    Boasting a star-studded cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, and others, this film was anticipated to be a major blockbuster.

    However, the trailer released in February had audiences scratching their heads.

    The initial responses were quite varied, with some viewers immediately doubting the film’s credibility.

    “So, they’ve turned Borderlands into Guardians of the Galaxy with a really strange cast. Wonderful,” one Twitter user sarcastically commented.

    Another critic bluntly stated, “Unfortunately, we won’t be watching.”

    Amidst the negativity, a few brave souls stepped up to defend the film, suggesting, “Hear me out, y’all—this actually looks good. The casting choices for some of these characters are top-notch.”

    Unfortunately, the film’s debut has done little to ease the skepticism.
