“I embrace aging. I want to age with wisdom, grace, dignity, enthusiasm, and energy,” she said.
“I don’t want to hide from it,” Curtis continued.
“I don’t want to hide from my age as if it’s something bad,” she added.
“We’re all discovering that people are passionate about it,” she said.
“It’s an inside job!” she exclaimed.
“We’re so confused on the outside, but the true joy of being my age comes from an inner foundation,” Curtis emphasized.
The summit flipped the concept of aging, calling it “one of the greatest gifts in life.”

Since Ruby came out, Curtis has openly spoken about her daughter’s journey, watching with “wonder and pride” as she revealed her true self to the world.
“I am here to support Ruby. That is my job. Just as it is to care for, love, and support her older sister Annie in her journeys,” Curtis shared at the time.
