Jessie J has finally revealed the identity of her baby’s father!
The singer, born Jessica Ellen Cornish, is a British artist best known for hits like “Bang Bang,” “Price Tag,” and “Domino.”
The singer announced her pregnancy in January 2023 and shared with fans that she welcomed a son in May of the same year.
While fans were thrilled with Jessie J’s baby announcement, many were curious about the identity of the baby’s father – and now, the singer has finally shared the answer.
Jessie J has been open with her fans about her journey with fertility challenges, once sharing that she was told she might never be able to conceive.
In 2021, the singer faced heartbreak after experiencing a miscarriage.
Reflecting on that time, she wrote on social media: “Yesterday morning, I was laughing with a friend, saying, ‘Honestly, how am I going to get through my LA show tomorrow night without telling everyone I’m pregnant.’”
“By yesterday afternoon, I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down,” Jessie continued.
“After going for my third scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat.”
She added, “This morning, I feel like I have no control over my emotions. I may regret posting this. I may not. I honestly don’t know.”
She went on to say, “I’ve done two shows in two years, and my soul needs this—now more than ever. I know some people might think I should just cancel, but right now, I have clarity on one thing.”
“I started singing when I was young for joy, to fill my soul, and as a form of self-love therapy. That’s never changed, and I need to process this my way.”
Jessie J shared that she had chosen to pursue having a baby on her own, as it was “all she ever wanted.”
However, in May 2023, the singer revealed that she had welcomed a baby with a partner.
“I am so happy and terrified to finally share this. Please be gentle with me,” she wrote while announcing her pregnancy.
The celebrity couple had teased their relationship for several months leading up to the announcement.
In one of her Instagram posts while she was still pregnant, celebrating Mother’s Day in the UK, Jessie J shared, “I love your Daddy so much; you wouldn’t be on your way without him.
“He is the most patient, calm, and good-looking man.
“You are going to LOVE him when you meet him.”

In another post on her Instagram story, the pop star shared a heartfelt tribute to the father of her child, though his face was not visible in the photo.
Jessie J wrote: “I struggle to keep things private. If you know me, you know that.
“I want to protect the people I love and keep it just for myself… but then I often think, ‘F*** it, because life is short,’ and I don’t want to regret it.”
She went on to express that she fell in love with her boyfriend shortly after their first meeting.

She shared, “I met this man weeks after my miscarriage in 2021, like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days.
“It was a whirlwind of love, and it felt like a miracle that we were able to get pregnant naturally without any issues.”
“Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe it. He has given me some of the best gifts of my life,” Jessie J expressed.
She shared that her boyfriend was by her side when she gave birth to their child via C-section.
“He didn’t let go of my hand that day, and I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without him,” she commented.
Concluding her heartfelt post, Jessie J expressed, “He is the calm to my crazy, the peace to my fear, and the daddy to my baby. Thank you.”
The “Do It Like a Dude” singer also shared an adorable photo of her baby boy reaching out to hold her finger.
According to E! News, Jessie J’s baby daddy is Chanan Safir Colman, a Danish-Israeli professional basketball player currently signed with Hapoel Haifa.
