In 2021, the pop star faced heartbreak when she suffered a miscarriage.

At the time, she shared her feelings on social media, writing: “Yesterday morning, I was laughing with a friend saying, ‘Seriously though, how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant?’”

“By yesterday afternoon, I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down.”

“After going for my third scan, I was told there was no longer a heartbeat.”

“This morning, I feel like I have no control over my emotions. I might regret posting this. I might not. I honestly don’t know.”

She continued: “I’ve done two shows in two years, and my soul is craving it now more than ever. I know some might suggest I should just cancel it, but right now, I’m clear on one thing.”

“I began singing as a child for the joy it brought me and as a form of self-love therapy. That hasn’t changed, and I need to process this in my own way.”

Jessie J shared that she chose to have a baby ‘on her own’ because it was ‘all she ever wanted.’
