JK Rowling says she’ll never forgive Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe

“I’m sorry, it’s not safe,” she replied. “Celebrities who aligned themselves with a movement aimed at undermining women’s long-fought rights, and who utilized their influence to support the transition of minors, should reserve their apologies for those who have been traumatized by detransitioning and for women who depend on single-sex spaces.”

Rowling has reiterated her stance, stating that she remains steadfast in her refusal to retract her choice to misgender transgender individuals. She affirmed her commitment by stating she wouldn’t remove posts where she referred to a man as a man.

She additionally implied her willingness to endure imprisonment rather than adhere to using preferred pronouns for transgender individuals, stating: โ€œIโ€™ll willingly serve a two-year sentence if it means avoiding compelled speech and the denial of the reality and significance of biological sex.โ€
