Man bitten on balls by python while he was sitting on toilet

The Thai man was hospitalized after being bitten on the testicles.

For many, sitting on the toilet offers a brief moment of peace amidst a hectic workday. However, for one Thai man, it was anything but peaceful.

Thanat Thangtewanon reported that just seconds after sitting on the toilet, he felt a sharp pain sear through his testicles.

Shockingly, a large python hiding in his home toilet was the source of the bite.

I can imagine! Just the thought of it is enough to make anyone feel uneasy.

When Thanat realized something was seriously wrong, he said, “I felt something biting my balls. It was very painful, so I reached into the toilet to see what was going on. I was shocked to find that I had grabbed a snake.”

“I quickly stood up and pulled it out. I felt intense pain, and there was blood everywhere, but my biggest shock was discovering a python in the toilet.”

    Look away if you’re squeamish…

Thanat quickly grabbed a toilet brush and began attacking the 12-foot snake with all his strength.

The snake’s grip on the man’s testicles quickly loosened before it died.

Following the nightmare-inducing incident, Thanat was rushed to the hospital to receive a tetanus vaccine.

Given the pictures from the bedroom and the amount of blood shown, youโ€™d expect Thanatโ€™s injuries to be quite severe.

However, the damage was not as severe as initially feared.

Doctors ultimately informed him that he would need stitches, which would heal within a few weeks.

โ€œMy testicles are safe now. Iโ€™m fortunate it wasnโ€™t a venomous snake. A cobra could have been deadly,โ€ he added.

“But I haven’t used that toilet since. Every time I go near it, I check what’s inside and put a brush in there just to be sure.”

The reticulated python, a species native to Thailand and Southeast Asia, is widely distributed across the region.

This species typically inhabits forests, swamps, and canals, but it can also be found in large cities.

As a result, they may encounter the general public, as Thanat is all too familiar with.

Surprisingly, there have been several instances of pythons attacking people while they are on the toilet.

In 2016, Attaporn Boonmakchuay had to rely on his wife to pry a python’s jaws off his penis after an unexpected encounter while using the toilet.

Attaporn lost consciousness from severe blood loss but fortunately survived after receiving treatment in the hospital.
