A man known for having his pen!s severed by his wife while he slept made an unusual career shift following the incident.
John Bobbitt’s life took a dramatic turn in 1993 when his wife, Lorena, severed his pen!s with a kitchen knife.
The couple became widely recognized as their case garnered extensive media coverage across America and eventually gained international attention. Numerous news outlets and tabloids reported on the shocking incident.
Lorena, now known as Lorena Gallo, was never incarcerated after pleading temporary insanity.
Gallo asserted that she severed Bobbitt’s pen!s in response to his s3xual assault, resulting in his arrest on charges of “marital s3xual assault.”
He pleaded not guilty and was subsequently acquitted of the charges.
Bobbitt later underwent a nine-hour surgery to have his pen!s reattached and eventually starred in a p0rnographic film directed by Ron Jeremy. The film, titled John Wayne Bobbitt: Uncut, came about after Bobbitt met Jeremy at a party.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Bobbitt remarked, “A p0rno seemed like the best way to show my pen!s worked.”

“Only it wasn’t all the way healed yet. I realize now that that was the point,” he reflected.
Bobbitt nearly missed the film’s premiere after being convicted of misdemeanor battery against his girlfriend, Kristina Elliott, in 1994, which led to a 60-day jail sentence.
The film received widespread criticism, with Vice commenting on the decision to make a p0rnographic film:
“He gets his dick cut off and makes a p0rno, thinking someone really wants to see that.
The cover even reads, ‘Ever since all this happened, all everyone wants to see is my pen!s.’
“If Ron Jeremy is your director and he’s feeding you that line of horsesht, then you’re an idiot and deserve a Franken**k.”

“How long before this guy fades back into obscurity?”
The case involving John Bobbitt and his ex-wife Lorena is set to resurface in UK media, as a documentary is scheduled to air this evening on ITV.
Titled I Cut Off His Pen!s: The Truth Behind the Headlines, the documentary features interviews with Lorena and examines other similar cases from around the world.
It delves into the psychological motivations that drive individuals to commit such acts, while primarily centering on the story of Lorena and John.
In the interview, she stated, according to Mail Online: “The escalation of abuse was not only physical—there were bruises on my arms, legs, shoulders, and face—and it escalated to the point that I was raped.”
She described feeling ‘trapped’ and ‘scared,’ recounting, “He told me: ‘No matter where you go, I’m always going to find you.’ How can you leave like that?”
