Michael Jackson’s son Prince explained why his dad always used to cover their faces growing up

The King of Pop famously kept his children’s faces hidden from the public when they were younger.

Michael Jackson’s son, Prince, has explained why his father always covered their faces while they were growing up.

The King of Pop, who passed away in 2009, left behind three children who generally prefer to stay out of the spotlight.

He had his first two children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., 27, known as ‘Prince,’ and Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson, 26, with his second wife, Debbie Rowe, a dermatology nurse.

His third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, 22, known as ‘Blanket’ and later as ‘Bigi,’ was conceived through a surrogate.

The identity of Bigi’s mother has never been publicly disclosed.

When they were younger, Jackson frequently covered his children’s faces in public. His eldest child explained the reason for this in a 2016 interview with the Los Angeles Times.

Prince said, “My dad talked to me like an adult.”
