Melissa Sloan, the mother known for her over 800 tattoos, has concealed her ink and now appears completely unrecognizable.
Youโve heard of Australiaโs most tattooed model, the notorious โBlack Alienโ, and โBritainโs most inked woman,โ but you might not be familiar with the British mom who sports over 800 tattoos, many of which adorn her face.
She claims she gets around three new tattoos each week, either at home or in her van.

Despite this, five of her seven children have reportedly cut off contact with her due to her obsessive body modification.
However, her youngest children, who still live with her, are big fans of her unique appearance.
According to the Daily Star, the 46-year-old explains: โI canโt get a job. They wonโt hire me. I even applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, but they turned me down because of my tattoos.โ
She also shares with the Daily Star: โNo Christmas parties, and when I go to my childโs school, I donโt get invited. They once told me to go to the back garden and look through the glass window.โ

In her initial attempt at covering her tattoos, she explained in an interview with the Daily Star: โIt took me ages. I bought a ยฃ3 foundation and decided to give it a try.โ
โI applied it for about half an hour, and when I went downstairs, the kids freaked out because they didnโt like it.โ

โAnd my partner looked twice and said, โNo, it doesnโt suit you. Get your tattoos back; it looks weird.โ The kids burst into tears, and even my dog looked at me twice.โ

Sloan claims she wanted a challenge, but her lack of tattoos ended up โscaringโ her kids! She also says it took her โ24 hoursโ to remove the long-lasting, thick foundation.

She adds: โThese trolls say my kids are scared of me, but theyโre actually scared of me with the foundation on. People donโt realize theyโre being small-minded.โ
Despite the negative reactions to her initial transformation, Sloan decided to give the look another tryโthis time, she kept her kids away to avoid scaring them.
โThey told me to โGo back to your craziness, mom,โ and none of them spoke to me. It didnโt go well. It felt like they were looking at a stranger, someone completely different,โ she tells the Daily Star in a recent interview.
Sloan explains, โWhen it came off again, they went back to normalโit should have been the other way around.โ
โIโve got a special tattoo foundation now. I had to apply it heavily, using half a tub. It was like thick cementโreally dense.โ
Sloanโs more natural look was well received by viewers, who commented that she looked better with makeup.
โItโs my life at the end of the day, and I can just swap and change,โ she says. โPeople said I looked beautiful the way I was before, but I like it a bit crazy.โ
