Mom With 800 Tattoos Shows What She Looks Like Without Ink In New Photo

Melissa Sloan, the mother known for her over 800 tattoos, has concealed her ink and now appears completely unrecognizable.

You’ve heard of Australia’s most tattooed model, the notorious ‘Black Alien’, and ‘Britain’s most inked woman,’ but you might not be familiar with the British mom who sports over 800 tattoos, many of which adorn her face.

However, she’s covered up her facial tattoos in a viral photograph, and she looks completely different…

She claims she gets around three new tattoos each week, either at home or in her van.

Despite this, five of her seven children have reportedly cut off contact with her due to her obsessive body modification.

However, her youngest children, who still live with her, are big fans of her unique appearance.

According to the Daily Star, the 46-year-old explains: “I can’t get a job. They won’t hire me. I even applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, but they turned me down because of my tattoos.”

“The first job I ever had was cleaning, a long time ago, cleaning toilets. People say I’ve never worked a day in my life, but I did once, and it didn’t last long. Still, if someone offered me a job tomorrow, I’d take it and go to work—I’d jump at the opportunity.”

She also shares with the Daily Star: “No Christmas parties, and when I go to my child’s school, I don’t get invited. They once told me to go to the back garden and look through the glass window.”

Sloan covered up her tattoos for a photograph, and her children and dogs were not pleased with her new look.

In her initial attempt at covering her tattoos, she explained in an interview with the Daily Star: “It took me ages. I bought a £3 foundation and decided to give it a try.”

“I applied it for about half an hour, and when I went downstairs, the kids freaked out because they didn’t like it.”

“And my partner looked twice and said, ‘No, it doesn’t suit you. Get your tattoos back; it looks weird.’ The kids burst into tears, and even my dog looked at me twice.”

Sloan claims she wanted a challenge, but her lack of tattoos ended up ‘scaring’ her kids! She also says it took her ‘24 hours’ to remove the long-lasting, thick foundation.

She adds: “These trolls say my kids are scared of me, but they’re actually scared of me with the foundation on. People don’t realize they’re being small-minded.”

Despite the negative reactions to her initial transformation, Sloan decided to give the look another try—this time, she kept her kids away to avoid scaring them.

“They told me to ‘Go back to your craziness, mom,’ and none of them spoke to me. It didn’t go well. It felt like they were looking at a stranger, someone completely different,” she tells the Daily Star in a recent interview.

Sloan explains, “When it came off again, they went back to normal—it should have been the other way around.”

“I’ve got a special tattoo foundation now. I had to apply it heavily, using half a tub. It was like thick cement—really dense.”

Sloan’s more natural look was well received by viewers, who commented that she looked better with makeup.

“It’s my life at the end of the day, and I can just swap and change,” she says. “People said I looked beautiful the way I was before, but I like it a bit crazy.”
