Nicole Kidman admits she had to pause filming of er0tic new movie as she ‘didn’t want to 0rgasm any more’

Nicole Kidman has opened up about the intense moments on set while filming her new erotic thriller.

The Big Little Lies actress, now 57, is no stranger to bold, sensual roles, with past performances in Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut and Netflix’s A Family Affair.

However, Kidman revealed that her latest project takes her into uncharted territory, pushing her to explore new depths in her career.

Kidman will star alongside Harris Dickinson and Antonio Banderas in the sultry thriller Babygirl, slated to hit cinemas early next year.

In this daring film, the Perfect Couple actress portrays Romy, a driven CEO trapped in a loveless marriage, who sparks a passionate affair with Samuel (played by Dickinson), a younger intern at her company.

The movie delves into the complexities of power dynamics and s*xuality within a corporate environment, using Romy and Samuel’s relationship as a lens to explore these provocative themes.

As you might expect, the film is packed with intense, s*xually charged scenes between the on-screen lovers.

In fact, Kidman revealed that things got so heated during filming that she had to pause production multiple times, feeling herself getting a bit too hot under the collar.

Discussing the filming of the intimate scenes, Kidman candidly shared that she had to call for breaks during particularly intense moments, saying she didn’t “want to 0rgasm any more.”

“There was a lot of vulnerability, trust, and eventually, frustration. It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me,’” she explained in a recent interview, as reported by The Sun.

“There were moments during filming when I was like, ‘I don’t want to 0rgasm any more,’” Kidman continued.

“Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I’m never touched again in my life! I’m over it.

“It was so constant for me that it felt almost like burnout.”

This isn’t the first time Kidman has opened up about working on explicit scenes.

She previously shared how the presence of intimacy coordinators on set helped her feel more comfortable and supported during such intense moments.

“I’m still a huge believer in the sacredness of the set or the actors’ space and ensuring it’s never violated,” Kidman admitted. “It’s our space, our bubble, and then there’s the world outside.”

Her co-star Harris Dickinson also praised intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot for her role in creating a safe environment on set.

He commented, “She was crucial for the film and helped break down the unnecessary barriers and awkwardness around what we had to do.”

Speaking about the film’s director, Kidman added, “I knew Halina wouldn’t exploit me. It’s the story I wanted to be a part of, the one I wanted to tell.

“Every part of me was committed to that. There was an enormous amount of care from all of us. We were very gentle with each other and supported one another throughout the process.”
