Paris Hilton makes heartbreaking statement after watching her home ‘burn to the ground on live TV’

Paris Hilton took to Twitter to express her heartbreak over the devastation caused by the wildfires in California.

Paris Hilton has opened up about the deep heartache she feels witnessing the destructive wildfires sweeping through California.

On Tuesday, January 7, the Pacific Palisades Fire ignited, fueled by hurricane-force winds that pushed it across the Pacific Coast to Pasadena. Several other wildfires have since erupted, surrounding Los Angeles.

By last night, reports confirmed that the fire had claimed the lives of five people, prompting evacuation orders for residents. A red flag warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for Los Angeles and Oxnard, CA, remaining in effect until tomorrow.

LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell described the winds as unlike anything heโ€™d “ever seen before,” with more than 1,000 structures reported as destroyed, according to AP News. The fires have left Malibuโ€™s coastline charred.

Among the homes affected in Malibu is Paris Hiltonโ€™s. The businesswoman took to Twitter to share the emotional moment, revealing that she and her family watched their home “burn to the ground on live TV,” an experience she described as “something no one should ever have to experience.”

In a heartfelt post earlier today, Paris wrote: “Heartbroken beyond words […] This home was where we built so many precious memories. Itโ€™s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.

“While the loss is overwhelming, Iโ€™m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires.

“To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets.”

“My heart aches for those still in harmโ€™s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking,” Paris Hilton shared in her emotional message.

She also highlighted how her 11:11 Media Impact Team has already reached out to various nonprofit organizations to provide support for those affected by the fires. “Weโ€™re committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most,” Hilton added.

The socialite expressed her gratitude toward the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect others. “You are true heroes. I am so grateful for your courage, dedication, and the incredible sacrifices youโ€™re making to save lives and fight this unimaginable battle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

She concluded, “Letโ€™s protect one another and hold onto hope that these fires will soon be contained. Sending so much love and strength to all of you. Weโ€™re in this together, LA. Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change.”
