Paris Hilton has shared insights into the challenges of parenting, particularly as a working mother with infants.
The 42-year-old heiress, former reality star, and businesswoman welcomed her second child in November 2023, having joyously revealed the arrival of her daughter through surrogacy.
On January 25, 2023, Hilton celebrated the arrival of her first child, Phoenix, with her husband Carter Reum, joyfully sharing the news across her social media platforms.
Alongside a heartfelt photo capturing her newborn’s tiny fingers entwined with hers, Hilton conveyed her affection with the caption: “You are already loved beyond words” accompanied by a blue heart.
During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE at that time, Paris expressed her enthusiasm for motherhood, describing it as her “dream” and expressing gratitude for the happiness she found with Carter. She exclaimed, “We are so excited to start our family together, and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”

In November of the previous year, Paris Hilton announced the birth of her daughter, London, on Instagram. She shared an adorable photo showcasing a pink baby outfit and a pair of heart-shaped sunglasses. In the caption, Hilton expressed her gratitude, writing, “Thankful for my baby girl.”
Nevertheless, Paris recently revealed that her choice to have both children through a surrogate was influenced by her battle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) stemming from a traumatic experience during her teenage years.
Despite the hurdles, Paris conveyed her happiness in embracing motherhood once more. In an interview with CNN, she expressed, “We are just over the moon, we are so in love with her, and I just feel like my life is so complete now with my baby boy and baby girl.”
Addressing the unexpected nature of London’s arrival, Paris disclosed, “She was a surprise to everyone as well – my mom and my sister, they knew but they didn’t know when it was happening.”
Paris reflected on the substantial shift in her lifestyle, exchanging vodka shots and nightclub dance floors for diaper changes and games of peek-a-boo. With enthusiasm, she exclaimed, “These babies bring so much light and love into my life, especially just seeing Phoenix smile and laugh – and he just learned how to dance!”
Recognizing the difficulties of juggling a career and motherhood, Paris emphasized, “The one thing is being a working mom and balancing it all.”
“I have a crazy schedule, so I am learning to say no and just trying to spend as much time as possible with my little ones,” Paris shared.
In a prior interview with Us Weekly following the birth of her son, Hilton highlighted the change in her priorities, expressing, “All of my priorities have shifted. I am saying no to so many things because I want to be able to spend as much time with [my son] as possible. He’s just my little angel.”
