She recently posted an outfit that has sparked significant controversy.

The actress has faced accusations of being inappropriate and disrespectful.

By now, it’s well known that Johnny Depp won the highly publicized domestic abuse trial against his ex-girlfriend, Amber Heard.

Fortunately, it seems the trials are over… at least for the time being.

At the time, Depp released a statement expressing that the jury had given him his life back.

Initially, this pairing appeared to be the beginning of a promising relationship.

After meeting on the set of The Rum Diary in 2011, the actor began dating Texan actress and model Amber Heard, soon after ending his long-term relationship with Vanessa Paradis.

They announced their engagement in 2014…

And, not ones to waste any time, they quickly got married just one year later, tying the knot in February 2015.

However, it was around this time that things began to go awry.

Their honeymoon phase was quite brief, as just months after their marriage, Depp reportedly sustained a hand injury from “smashing bottles and windows” during a heated argument with his wife.

Over the following year, numerous reports of abuse between the couple continued to emerge…

So it was no surprise when Heard filed for divorce in March 2016, just fifteen months after the couple had first exchanged their “I do”s.

Although she didn’t explicitly name Depp in her op-ed, she alluded to the period when, “two years ago, I became a public figure representing domestic abuse, and I felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out.”

In 2018, he was dropped from his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

In a career-shattering move, just four days after Heard’s damning article, Disney announced that the actor would no longer be part of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

The accusations are hard to digest.

In his lawsuit, he stated, “She hit, punched, and kicked me. She frequently threw objects at my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, TV remotes, and paint thinner cans, causing severe injuries.”
