Pink conveyed a sincere message to her spouse, Carey Hart, on their 18th wedding anniversary, revealing that their journey together faced challenges, and they nearly didn’t reach this milestone.
The vocalist, aged 44, and the ex-professional motocross rider, aged 48, initially crossed paths in 2001 and tied the knot in Costa Rica in January 2006.
The pair is now also delighted parents to their two children, with a 12-year-old daughter named Willow and a seven-year-old son named Jameson. However, Pink openly discussed the challenges they have faced during their two decades together.
She posted a collection of photos featuring her and Carey throughout the years, accompanying it with a message to her followers: “Love is a journey of continually returning to the table. To be honest, we almost didn’t make it to this one, well, a couple of them.”
Pink confessed, “When I met you 22 years ago, all I sought was someone who wouldn’t deceive me. I had no understanding of commitment, constructing a life together, intimacy, or trust.”
“It’s incredibly challenging. But, man, I’m humbled by the unexpected presence of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. Witnessing how love reorganizes itself and reemerges after a night, or even five, of emptiness.”
“I take pride in us reaching the other side of this year. I wear our scars with pride. You are my resolute, beautiful, unyielding rock.”
She wrapped up her message by saying, “The family we’ve constructed, the stories we’ve woven together, and the memories we persist in creating are more valuable than a myriad of awards anyone could bestow upon me. I love you, and I love us. #18years #improudofyou #family.”
Pink and Carey’s relationship has encountered its share of ups and downs throughout the years, yet the couple has consistently reunited after periods of separation.

The Grammy winner initially acknowledged their separation in February 2008, just two years after their marriage. She hinted at their split in her hit song ‘So What,’ where the music video depicts her chopping down a tree with their names carved into a heart. Additionally, she gets the word ‘void’ tattooed over some ink on her wrist.
The couple underwent marriage counseling to salvage their relationship and officially announced their reconciliation in February 2010.
Carey also took to Instagram to express his feelings for his wife, writing: “Over the past 18 years of marriage with this incredible person, we have accomplished so much together.”
“Raise two incredible children, travel the world, embark on adventures, experience love, navigate through arguments, reconcile, support each other, share laughter, shed tears, laugh again, go through breakups, reunite, celebrate, grieve, grow, and a million other things.”
“There is no one else on this planet I’d rather go through all of this with than you. We’ve spent 22 years intertwined in each other’s lives, and I eagerly anticipate the next 22, as long as you don’t kill me first. Love you, baby!!!! Happy anniversary, @pink.”
Relationships are never easy, but these two seem to have figured it out, navigating through both the challenging and joyful times.
