In a heartwarming tribute to his father, Robert Irwin shared a photo in January that juxtaposed his childhood self with a tiny chameleon on his head next to a picture of Steve Irwin with a full-grown chameleon. “The love for chameleons must be genetic,” he captioned the post, highlighting their shared enthusiasm with matching gleeful expressions.

Last year, Bindi Irwin spoke candidly about her struggles with endometriosis, a chronic condition. In March 2023, she underwent surgery to remove nearly thirty lesions. On May 3rd, she was honored with the Blossom Award at EndoFound’s Blossom Ball in New York City. During the event, Robert Irwin emphasized the importance of men engaging in conversations about and prioritizing women’s health, calling for it to become a mainstream topic.

“I’ve never felt prouder to call Bindi my sister,” he said in a later interview. “Not only for overcoming her own pain but for helping others find answers as well. It’s astonishing that, to this day, endometriosis is still not widely discussed, especially in Australia. The conversation is only just beginning.”
