A mother of four and influencer promoting weight loss has passed away due to a presumed cardiac arrest.
Mila De Jesus, who tied the knot with George Kowszik just four months ago, tragically passed away on Friday, January 12, at the age of 35.
Her daughter posted on De Jesus’ Instagram page, confirming the unfortunate news.
Translated, the message from Anna Clara on De Jesus’ Instagram page read: “I, Anna Clara, share this message of condolences. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved mother. We are grateful for all the prayers and expressions of sympathy. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.”

Six years ago, the influencer gained online fame following a remarkable transformation, during which she underwent weight loss surgery.
In more recent times, Mila, originally from Brazil but residing in Boston, USA, had been grappling with psoriasis since July of the previous year.
During that period, she expressed, “I’ve been grappling with this situation for three months now, and 80 percent of my body is affected.”

Recently, Mila pondered upon her journey of losing weight.
In November, she marked the six-year anniversary of her surgery by sharing two side-by-side snapshots that showcased her incredible transformation.
Her caption read: “Thirteen years spanned between these two photos.”
“Six years have passed since a decision that profoundly altered various aspects of my life.”
“On one side, the 22-year-old Mila; on the other, the 35-year-old Mila.”
“Reflect on how much we’ve evolved, the growth we’ve experienced, and the lessons we’ve learned.”
“Proud, girl, be proud.”
A mere two weeks ago, the influencer shared a post on Instagram to welcome the new year.
“Ready to embrace the best year of our lives thus far… 2024, I waited eagerly for you!” she expressed.

Ever since the news was disclosed, tributes have been flooding in for the mother of four.
A social media user expressed (translated): “I can only imagine the magnitude of your pain, knowing your mother was the best she could be… I won’t cease praying for your children; I am confident that God will send a comforting angel.”
Another person added (translated): “You are in my prayers, Mila will always be remembered for the legacy she left us! I will always remember her smiling.”
A third person expressed: “I can’t believe it. My condolences to you and your brothers, the whole family. Can’t believe we won’t see her around here anymore. God give strength to the whole family; she will be missed dearly.”
